Summer Star Power Fundraiser

Two women embracing at the finish line

This summer, as our founder, Sydney Davis, passes the leadership baton to our new director, Suzanne Elliott, we are energized by the positive momentum of building up our full program experience – from 10 weeks of confidence-building lessons to the pinnacle of the 5K.

Our program means so much to the girls who participate each season, and after the spring 5K we asked participants at our financially-supported sites how they felt after completing the program.

“Because of Girls on the Run, I can be myself and be strong when things happen. I can stand up for other people so they won’t feel alone,” said one GOTR girl.

However, we are challenged to meet the demand for financial assistance so that we can say “YES!” to every girl who wants to be part of Girls on the Run.

To address this need for our fall season, we must raise $15,000 to bring Girls on the Run to under-resourced communities and support scholarships for lower-income families in Essex, Union, Morris, Mercer and Burlington counties.

YOU can help us offer more girls the chance to participate in this transformative program by making a donation today!

Thank you for helping us inspire and empower the next generation of strong, courageous, empathetic girls!

“Because of Girls on the Run, I feel more encouraged and powerful. I feel unstoppable!
