The 5K Course is a 3.1 mile course along Stuart Road. The 5K participants will pass a water stop at mile 1.5. Cheer Teams will also be placed along the course to cheer on the girls and 5K participants.

CAN I BRING MY DOG OR PET?
For safety, all furry friends are not allowed on the course or at the event, so please leave all pets at home on 5K day! All pets will be asked to return to the pet owner's vehicle if spotted at the event.
ARE THERE AID STATIONS AVAILABLE?
Water will be available at the start. One aid station will be available on the course. Additional water and snacks will be available at the finish line.
HOW LONG WILL THE 5K RUN TAKE?
Finishing times vary of course, but our fastest runners will complete the run in about 25 minutes. Most runners will fall between 30-45 minutes We will be sweeping the course at one hour from the starting time to ensure all runners have returned to the starting area.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
Official event parking is provided in the school parking lots on the SCDS campus, off Stuart Road. Please note additional parking on our parking map.
This event would not be possible without the help of amazing volunteers who believe in our mission and show up to support our girls. Whatever your special skills and talents, we have a role for everyone.
Volunteers will help with 5K registration, assisting pre-registered runners and event day runners. Approximate arrival time 5:30 a.m. Time commitment is 4 to 5 hours. This volunteer opportunity is best suited for individuals over 18 years of age.
Volunteers will help with logistics and operations. Potential responsibilities include: parking attendants, helping to distribute water to runners, assisting runners at the start line and on the course. Approximate time of arrival is 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Time commitment is 4 to 6 hours. These volunteer opportunities are best suited for adults, older teens and adult groups.
Volunteers will help greet buses upon arrival and assist coaches with their 5K materials. Assistance will also be needed with runner refreshments and medal distribution at the finish line, and at the information and merchandise tents. Approximate time of arrival is 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Time commitment is 4 to 6 hours. This volunteer opportunity is best suited for individuals over 18 years of age.
